Astonished I am By thine comely grace Lush green leaves swaying in the breeze All hang their apex in jealousy When you walk by The midday sun is it as hot As your cool beauty. Consuming all in it’s path Sprinting around with energy abound Shapeless like an ameoba Burning twigs, hides, fur and skin Destroying everything it touches Licking the ground clean Insatiable, more victims it want Leaving desolation in it’s wake Making landlord homeless And the homeless hopeless Fiery body of destruction Grey, colourless and white ashes Marking it’s trail Melting iron And boiling steel The great fire consumes all And spare none. I seek refuge in the Lord From the evils of the fire.
